1. Summary
DTSY601 three-phase electronic prepayment watt-hour meter(with IC card) use a special energy measuring chip(ATT7030A) to convert the energy signal into the pulse signal. Then the pulse signal was processed by the microprocessor to achieve the prepayment usage and energy control.
The meter could offer anti-counterfeiting function, encryption function, current limitation and cut-in or cut-off the circuit automatically. And help the power usage department to control the prepayment management.
The total active power is directly displayed by character wheel register, LED digital display shows the residual electrical quantity, number of purchasing times and the total prepaid capacity.


2. Princple
Because of the status of on-or-off of the current circuit is controlled by a inner relay, so if the max. current is equal or less than 40A the meter will be applied to the internal controlling mode. If the max. current is greater than 40A or less than 40A but with a external current transformer, the meter will be applied to the external controlling mode.(The meter would use the controlling line to control the external heavy-current relay or current breaker to break-up the heavy current circuit.)

5. Main function
5.1 Output interface: with active and passive impulse output interface for meter regulating and testing.
5.2 LED digital tube displays the power range: (0~999999)kWh
5.3 LED indicate function parameter.

5.4 Alarm function

5.4.1 When as the residual electrical quantity is lower than the warning value (0~255)kWh that could be set by Energy Department), the residual current will be displayed to notify the user purchasing the quantity as soon as possible.

5.4.2 When as the residual electrical quantity is lower than the power-off value (0~255)kWh that could be set by Energy Department), the meter will cut-off the power automatically to notify the user purchasing the quantity as soon as possible.

5.4.3 The residual electrical quantity would be showed in integral bit.

5.5 Maximum purchasing quantity could be set by power supply department.

5.6 The data could be saved over 10 years.

5.7 According to working current the meter could be divided into two modes internal controlor external control.


6. Instruction of IC Card for Usage
6.1 IC Card for Consumer
IC card is a medium for the users to purchase the electrical quantity. Users could use it to purchase the quantity, check the residual quantity, restore the power after power-off, reset the meter's information and etc. And one card for one meter, it's non-interchangeable.

6.2 When users insert the prepaid card, the meter could identify the password and the user code automatically. After the password is confirmed, the user information will be loaded up to the meter and also the meter information will be written into the IC card. Then the meter begins to work. The card should be extracted after the residual electrical capacity is displayed. If meter displays "EEEE", that's means insert error or extract too fast.

6.3 Alarm
When the residual electrical capacity lower than the warning value, the residual power capacity will be displayed to notify the users. When the residual electrical capacity is lower than the power-off value, the meter would cut-off the power automatically. If the residual capacity is not empty or the credit account is allowed. Users could restore the power supply by re-interpolate the IC card.

6.4 Illegal IC card
When the customer inserts a illegal IC card, "EEEE" would be displayed to indicate the illegal card. (Note: The illegal card would be destroyed by three-time insertion.)
